London Zoo
Throughout June and July I visited friends at the Institute of Zoology (IoZ) at London Zoo. I also managed to get a tour from Ian Stephen of the reptile rooms not accessible to the public and saw some of their current conservation projects with some beautiful vipers.
Wild Aesculapians...
They've been at the Zoo for years, and are quite a studied species too. There seems to be no evidence suggesting their spread or that they cause large amounts of ecological damage. If you know where to look on either the Zoo Site or on the adjacent canals, you should be able to find them.
